Walking the Dog, Caribbean style….

 

Dear Friends,

Whilst enjoying an ice cold ‘Presidente’ (beer from the Dominican Republic),sitting on the veranda of the Soca Cabana Restaurant, Little Bay, Montserrat,  I was introduced to a different way of walking the dog….(actually walking other animals as well)..

The dog owners keep the animals on a long leash and have the dogs swimming (tread milling) for say 10-15 minutes… By the looks of it, they(the dogs) are not so fond of this exercise.

So, to follow up, I had Lucky to join me for a swim, and she definitely doesn't like it (yet…).

Yes, somebody just got a promotion on board… Please welcome Lucky, Head of Boat Security. In her job, she will be responsible of safe guarding the entire boat, and making sure that no un-invited persons will embark, and in the, remote, case that may happen, severe bodily harm will be applied (to the trespasser that is..)
