Brazilian Storm

Dear friends,
The proverbial cat is out of the bag… After years, the, otherwise easy going, Brazilians take it to the streets. Enough is enough! It all started with demonstrations to stop the increase of public transport prices in big cities like Sao Paulo, and Rio de Janeiro, but obviously it is about much more: Unrealistic “investments” in infra structure for the world cup soccer tournament (2014), the Olympic games (2016), corruption, lack of good education, lack of decent hospitals and did I mention  corruption?
It appears that there are a lot, and I mean a lot, dead corpses in hidden closets, scandals involving government leaders from all sorts and levels. Big media tried to hide this from the public, but thanks to social media Brazilian Storm became a reality.
I salute all my Brazilian friends protesting for what is just, and I am convinced that Brazilian Storm will bring winds of change…
All the best,
Pieter
